Full Time Legal Assistant, Barrie Office
We are a fast paced, cutting edge civil litigation law firm in Barrie looking to hire a full-time legal assistant who is motivated, well-organized and possesses superior attention to detail. The Company:
Rastin Law is a civil litigation law firm serving Central Ontario in the areas of personal injury, long term disability claims, labour and employment matters, motor vehicle accidents, estate litigation and more.
The Position:
The ideal candidate will have;
- A College Diploma or equivalent experience in the personal injury litigation field
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and excellent computer skills (working knowledge of Time Matters and Primafact would be considered an asset)
- We are particularly interested in individuals who have compassion and a desire to provide outstanding service to our clients
The key responsibilities of your role would be:
- Providing assistance to lawyers and senior law clerks
- Sending and filing correspondence
- Occasional reception support
- Intake calls
- Contact with current clients and potential clients
- Court runs
- Other duties as required
