Primary Duties Include

Drafting and completing both provincial and federal documents and proceedings (incorporations, continuances, amalgamations, dissolutions)
Due diligence reviews on minute books and preparation of related documents
Preparing necessary legal documents, billing and expenses, and distribution reports
Domestic and foreign extra-provincial registrations and licenses
Maintenance of extensive filing system and databases
Docket editing and processing accounts
Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
Perform corporate and due diligence searches online as requested

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience working within corporate law
Legal Assistant/Clerk diploma
Extensive knowledge of OBCA, CBCA, CIA, LP Act
Superior organizational and multitasking abilities
Candidate must be extremely detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills
Supervisory experience is an asset
Flexible, team player that is client service oriented
