Kastner Lam LLP is a Toronto-based litigation boutique focused on employment law, human rights law, union-side labour law, criminal defence, and civil litigation.
We are looking for an outstanding law clerk or paralegal with a passion for social justice to join our collaborative team.
In this role, you will provide litigation support within our civil practice group. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and has excellent writing skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting letters, pleadings, motion materials, affidavits, and various court and tribunal documents;
- Liaising with clients by phone and email throughout all stages of a matter;
- Understanding and applying the Rules of Civil Procedure and the relevant practice directions;
- Coordinating the issuance, service, and filing of court and tribunal documents; and
- Various administrative duties, as needed.
We are seeking a candidate with a law clerk or paralegal diploma and/or relevant work experience.
