Position Purpose

Reporting to the Director of Legislative Services/Town Solicitor, the position is responsible for providing a wide range of legal services to all Town departments as well as for the day to day operation of the Town Solicitor’s mandate. For full details, please visit our website at www.georgina.ca.

Minimum Qualifications

College diploma in a Law Clerk Program; Membership in the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario preferred; Three (3) years of experience at a senior level within a municipality and/or within a legal department or law office. Demonstrated legal/real estate and conveyancing experience and knowledge of real estate-related statutes, preferably in a municipal environment.
