Litigation clerk/legal assistant

LITIGATION LAW CLERK/LEGAL ASSISTANT

FDH Lawyers LLP has an immediate opening for a litigation clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a Litigation Clerk/ Assistant
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Assisting with drafting correspondence and  pleadings
  • Preparing court forms, Affidavits of Documents, Undertakings, and other  Court documents
  • Opening and closing files; preparing accounts
  • Communicating with clients and third parties
  • Computer skills, primarily the functions of MS Office, ACL & PCLaw
  • Knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure
