Our Business Law Group is currently looking for a full-time Corporate Law Clerk.

 

The ideal candidate will be a positive professional who can assist our lawyers with the utmost attention to detail. She/he will be proactive, creative and always exploring ways to improve efficiencies and meet the needs of clients, while maintaining professionalism at all times.

 

This individual will deal with various corporate matters including drafting legal documents, conducting research, due diligence and managing client relationships. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: incorporations, organizations, amalgamations, changes in corporate charter, dividends, dissolutions, maintaining and reviewing corporate records, ledgers and registers, assisting with corporate reorganizations and share and asset purchase transactions.

 

The preferred candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Corporate Law Clerk. Excellent knowledge of federal and provincial corporate statutes and corporate procedures. Exceptional communication, technical, interpersonal and client service skills. Experience with not-for-profit corporations and estates would be considered assets.
